Next week, Hawk Safety will be at the Independent Hotel Show London, supporting our partner Southern Retail Systems at Olympia London on 5–6 October.
Following our recent trip to the Independent Hotel Show in Miami, where we supported our US partner, we’re looking forward to doing the same a little closer to home.
We’ll be joining the Southern Retail Systems team on Stand 1304 throughout the show, helping with demonstrations and talking to hotel operators about how technology can simplify some of the everyday operational and compliance challenges faced across hospitality.
Taking manual checks out of hotel operations
Hotels have a lot to keep on top of.
From kitchens, bars and restaurants to food storage and other temperature-sensitive areas, teams can still spend a surprising amount of time manually checking equipment, recording temperatures and completing paperwork.
Hawk Monitor automates that process.
Wireless sensors continuously monitor critical assets such as fridges and freezers, with readings available through a central dashboard and alerts sent when something goes outside its permitted limits.
Alongside monitoring, Hawk Workflows can digitise many of the routine checks and processes that would otherwise be completed on paper – from food safety and cooking checks to cleaning schedules, opening and closing procedures, audits and other operational tasks.
For individual hotels, that can mean less paperwork and better visibility. For hotel groups, it also creates the opportunity to see what is happening across multiple properties from one place.
Supporting our partners properly
The show is also another example of how we want our partner network to work.
We don’t want to simply provide partners with a price list and leave them to it.
Southern Retail Systems already has its own relationships and considerable experience within hospitality. Our role is to support that with the technology, product knowledge, demonstrations, onboarding and technical expertise behind Hawk.
That means when opportunities arise, we can work together rather than expecting a partner to become a Hawk product expert overnight.
It’s an approach we’re increasingly taking with partners both in the UK and internationally as we expand Hawk into new customers, sectors and markets.
