Once your order is placed, the process is fast and simple. An account manager is assigned to you as a point of contact. They will collect basic details needed to onboard your account (names of users who should have access to the platform, etc.). Your account manager will also handle the allocation and shipment of any hardware, and guide you step-by-step through the installation and setup of your sensors. This ensures you’re up and running smoothly with minimal effort.

We currently process payments via PayPal. You don’t need a PayPal account to complete your purchase — simply select PayPal at checkout and enter your card details as prompted. If you prefer, you can also contact us directly to arrange a manual payment via invoice and bank transfer. We’re happy to accommodate whichever method works best for you.

The Hub acts as the central gateway between your temperature sensors (Hawk Sentry devices) and the Hawk Dashboard. It collects readings from all sensors and securely transmits the data to the cloud.

In most cases, one hub is sufficient for the area where the assets are located. You would need additional hubs only if some units are in a different wing, floor or building, or if you are monitoring more than 20 assets in the same area.

While there is technically no fixed limit to the number of sensors that can transmit to one Hawk Hub, we recommend connecting up to 20 sensors per hub. Beyond this point, there may be an increased risk of signal interference or data congestion. In such cases, adding a second hub — even within the same area — helps maintain optimal performance and prevents potential data loss.

The wireless range is approximately 150 metres indoors or up to 600 metres outdoors, depending on building materials and interference.

The sensors record data every 7 minutes.

Yes, the Hub itself needs internet access (via Wi-Fi or Ethernet) to send data to the cloud. The sensors don’t use Internet connectivity to transmit data.

Each Hawk Sentry sensor runs on lithium batteries that typically last up to two years, depending on usage and environmental conditions.

Yes. Multiple Hubs can be deployed across different locations, all reporting back to the same Hawk Dashboard. You can view, compare, and manage data from all sites in one place.

Yes. The system sends instant alerts by email or push notification if temperatures go outside your defined range, helping you prevent stock loss and maintain compliance.

We offer sensors with different IP ratings to suit your environment. All of our sensors can safely operate in humid and cold conditions, including fridges and freezers. For areas exposed to splashes or full immersion, we can provide splash-proof or immersion-proof versions to ensure maximum protection and reliability.

Sensors come with a strong 3M adhesive pad on the back. Simply peel off the protective film and secure the sensor to the desired surface inside the fridge or freezer. No specialist tools or wiring are required.

Absolutely. All data is transmitted securely and stored in the Hawk Safety cloud platform, ensuring full compliance with data protection and food safety standards.

Yes. The Hawk Dashboard allows you to instantly download or print detailed temperature reports for any period, making audits quick and stress-free.
